Founded in 2009, the Climate Change: Impacts & Responses Research Network is brought together by a common concern for the science of, and social responses to, climate change.

Overview

Annual Conference

The International Conference Climate Change: Impacts & Responses attendees include leaders in the field, as well as emerging scholars, who travel to the conference from all corners of the globe and represent a broad range of disciplines and perspectives. A variety of presentation options and session types offer opportunities for attendees to share their work, discuss key issues in the field, and build relationships with attendees.

Membership in the network is included with each conference registration.

Journal & Books

The Climate Change: Impacts & Responses Research Network supports a book imprint and a journal. Book proposals and article submissions which meet the specified requirements are then evaluated by qualified peers using a two way anonymous review process. If accepted in peer review, these works move through additional phases toward publication. To learn about the entire publication process for books or journals, please visit Learn More about the Book Publication Process or Learn More about the Article Publication Process.

Participation

Climate Change: Impacts & Responses Research Network members have several opportunities for ongoing involvement. They can share video presentations of their scholarly work, apply to serve on the network’s Advisory Board, participate as a Reviewer, help curate relevant news as online editors, and much more. In short, there are myriad chances for members to gain experience and bolster resumes. Monthly email newsletters contain updates on our conference, journals, and books as well as other news from the field.
